| | | Celebrate St. Augustine’s rich African-American heritage at this festive event! Live musical entertainment, food, arts & crafts and narrated tours of the historic Lincolnville district are featured. Not only was Lincolnville the setting for momentous Civil Rights events in the 1960’s, more than half of its buildings date from a black community established in the late 19th century. Funds raised from the festival will be used for exhibits at the Fort Mose Museum. Lincolnville Festival is free to the public and takes place at Francis Field on Castillo Drive in St. Augustine. |
