| | Continuing in the annual tradition of the past several years,”Wine for the Holidays” is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. in Government House’s Sala de Montiano and Courtyard. The party will ring in the holiday season with an array of hors d’oeuvres, wines, and spiced eggnog, providing the prefect location to watch the Grand Illumination and the British Night Watch. The evening will be highlighted by the colorful ceremony of colonial militia re-enactors assembled on St. George Street who, to the sounds of fife and drum, march to the City Gate and back, before firing their weapons in a “Volley of Joy.” |
